ACC NETWORK: THE MISSING PIECE

  • With COVID-19 leaving fans at home during the 2020-21 college football season, I wanted to welcome back fans to their religious homes, the stadiums, to open the 2021-22 season on ACCN.


EURO 2020: ROLLOUT

  • Produced the ending of EURO Tonight with a piece highlighting England-Czech Republic and Scotland-Croatia on Matchday 3 of the EURO 2020 group stage.

EURO 2020: RISING STARS

  • Produced a bump highlighting Italy’s Federico Chiesa, a young winger who blew up during EURO 2020

CFP NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

  • Produced a piece including sound from notable players including Chris Olave, Patrick Surtain and Troy Sermon before the CFP National Championship Game.

ZACH LAVINE CALLS GAME ON HORNETS

  • SportsCenter highlight nominated for ‘highlight of the month’ thanks to a combination of using different elements to create a story about Zach LaVine’s lights-out performance against the Charlotte Hornets.

ANCHOR/REPORTER REEL (FEBRUARY 2019) 

  • Anchor and produce the Friday edition of the First at Five show. Shoot high school and college sports for production. Create melts with Adobe Premiere Pro and write scripts using AP ENPS.

  • Attends University of Florida basketball games, practices, postgame conferences and media availabilities. Shoot and edits video for broadcast and write content for wruf.com. Video content consists of game highlights/melts, interviews, game previews and recaps.

MIAMI HEAT BROADCAST INTERNSHIP RECAP

  • Winner of the inaugural Miami Heat Summer Internship League where my team created, revamped and helped implement the new season ticket member experience at the team. Presented the project to 62 members in leadership including The Heat Group President Eric Woolworth.

  • Gathering and organized playoff highlights, monitored postseason awards and collected highlights, labeled and organized an extensive tape library, researched and requested materials for draft picks & acquired free agents, archived historical melts, air-checks and radio.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA STUDENT-ATHLETES

  • The thought of life after sports for most student-athletes can be straight-forward or cloudy, depending on who you ask.

  • There is no exception at the University of Florida, a school with a top Division I athletic program. UF is the only program to finish among the nation’s top 10 in each of the last 33 National All-Sports standings.

  • Like at any other school, student-athletes prepare for the jump to professional sports (playing or coaching) or are forced to accept a life away from a court, field, pool or the many other competitive grounds.

STEMMING THE TIDE: UNTENABLE REALITY

Miami Montage is reported and produced by high school students attending the Peace Sullivan/James Ansin High School Workshop in Journalism and New Media, hosted by the School of Communication at the University of Miami.

  • With sea levels predicted to rise in South Florida, Miami officials are working with developers to address the demands for urban development while protecting the city’s future from rising sea levels.

  • Earlier this year, city of Miami Commissioner Francis Suarez and other city officials created the Sea Level Rise Committee, a program to address the danger of saltwater intrusion.
